Quick answer
SnaggingFinder is free to use. We may receive a referral fee when we connect you with an inspector who takes on your inspection, or a commission when you book through an affiliate link. This does not change the price you pay, and it is not an input to inspector scores or ranking.
Referral fees
When you use Find an Inspector, we pass your request to inspectors covering your area. If one of them takes on your inspection, we may be paid a referral fee by the inspector.
Affiliate links
Links to inspector websites that may earn us a commission are marked with rel="sponsored". Inspector profiles currently linking to a provider site this way: HomeSnag, New Build Inspections.
Effect on scores and ranking
The inspector table is ordered by the editorial score, calculated with the published formula in our methodology. We do not accept payment for favourable placement, and the “Recommended” label is an editorial selection that does not feed into the score.
